Biography:
So who is Dave Holloway?

Dave Holloway was most recently VP/Creative Director at Publicis Seattle on T‑Mobile.
He’s also worked at top agencies in New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
In just 2 years at Publicis, Dave led and penned the Agency’s three biggest initiatives for T-Mobile. In 2008, it was the client’s first foray into the “coverage wars” – a $30 million integrated campaign that featured TV, print, radio, guerilla and a $13 million interactive buy, T-Mobile’s largest ever.
Dave also served as co-creative director and lead writer on T-Mobile’s retail “Playground” Stores. He conceived everything from interactive kiosks to in-store videos to clothing for the salespeople. The initial four stores were so successful that T-Mobile has opened 60 more. And for Shadow, T-Mobile’s competitor to the iPhone, Dave contributed three TV spots, a microsite, and created all of the content – including the first-ever “video instructional manual” for a mobile phone, starring actress Jane Krakowski.
Dave has won Cannes Gold, One Show Silver and the $100,000 Grand Athena for America’s top newspaper campaign. He’s written two Super Bowl spots. And produced work for Volvo, Evian, New Balance, The New York Times, Bank of America, Guinness, The Economist, Hotjobs.com, Heineken, UPS, Unilever and Got Milk?
Most importantly, Dave loves teaching. He’s the author of a textbook and DVD on getting into, and succeeding, in advertising (dave@daveholloway.net).
And November 2008 was his third time judging One Show China, and teaching China’s top students in Beijing and Shanghai.
Dave’s a graduate, board member and frequent lecturer at The Creative Circus in Atlanta.
He’s written many an article for Ad Age, One Magazine, CMYK (and now blogs for its site). And the young creatives Dave has mentored have won several One Show Pencils and Cannes Lions.
Dave has written love songs sung by Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin and Aaron Neville. Enjoys playing tennis and saxophone, drinking Pinot Noir, practicing yoga, going to see photography exhibits and traveling (Cape Town was last, and Moscow is next).
