Hey Dave,

I wanted to write you to thank you for the insight that both you and your book and DVD offered.

I’m interning at DraftFCB as an account manager for the summer.

I did this after reading the story in your book about the two graduates who waited for something to happen, rather than move to a location and actively pursue their passion.

There’s no doubt that with this internship, I’m going to suffer a short-term loss, financially. But the experience of living in New York City, coupled with the things I’ll learn while at DraftFCB and its networking opportunities, beats out any loss with the long-term gain.

Again, even though our interaction was brief, it empowered me with the confidence in the direction I wanted to go.
