I just wanted to let you know that I really appreciate the email you sent me. Really.

You remind me of my favorite professor in college. He was very blunt and hard on his students. People hated him for that, but that’s what I loved about him. There’s nothing more refreshing than a good, old reality check. It’s worked wonders in propelling me forward. Thing is, non-sugar coated advice is hard to come by. Good criticism is something a lot of my teachers lacked. Nothing’s worse than hearing a teacher look at the first round of ideas and say, “Cool.”

I read the articles on your Website. Very good advice. I’m totally sold on your book. I’m buying it ASAP. It seems like such a great resource, even if you’ve got a job.

Also, I saw your work on AdCritic.com and on your site. I liked your Volvo print and the Got Milk? TV was really cool. And I’ve always liked your funny T-Mobile commercials.
